About tciZen

An engineering company for sound, image and control.

We design, supply, integrate and support professional audio visual systems — and we stay responsible for them after the opening night.

01Who we are

Integrators with an engineering mindset.

tciZen brings together design engineers, programmers, installers and service technicians under one roof, so a project is owned by a single team from first survey to long-term support.

We work across cinema exhibition, broadcast, corporate, education, hospitality, government and live entertainment. The environments differ, but the discipline is the same: understand how the space is used, engineer a system that suits it, install it properly and prove that it works.

Equipment is specified project by project, on the basis of performance, manufacturer support and lifecycle cost — not habit.

02Our expertise

Disciplines that meet in every project.

Good AV systems are rarely about one piece of equipment. They depend on disciplines working together.

01Acoustics & audio
Coverage modelling, loudspeaker design, DSP tuning and measurement-based commissioning.
02Image & display
Projection, direct-view LED, display sizing, sightlines and image processing.
03Broadcast engineering
Production workflows, SDI and IP infrastructure, intercom and signal monitoring.
04Control & networking
Control programming, AV networking, remote management and building-system integration.
05Installation
Containment, cabling, rigging and rack build carried out by our own supervised teams.
06Service
Preventive maintenance, fault response and lifecycle planning under service contracts.

03Our approach

How we work.

  1. 01

Start with the room and its users

Before we specify equipment, we establish how the space will be used, who will operate it, and what success looks like.

  2. 02

    Design it, then document it

Every system is drawn, scheduled and described so that installers, other trades and your future engineers all work from the same information.

  3. 03

    Prove it before handover

We measure, tune and witness-test the system against the design. Handover happens when it performs — not when the last cable is terminated.

04 — Mission

To engineer audio visual systems that work reliably for the people who use them every day.

05 — Vision

To be the integration partner venues and organisations rely on for the whole life of their systems.

06Experience

The environments we work in.

Our team's project experience spans the following sectors and system types.

SectorTypical scope
Cinema & theatreProjection, cinema audio, booth infrastructure, automation
Broadcast & studioControl rooms, studio floors, routing, intercom
CorporateMeeting-room standards, town halls, experience centres
EducationLecture theatres, auditoriums, lecture capture
Hospitality & eventsBallrooms, divisible halls, house PA and LED

07Team

The people behind the systems.

Projects are delivered by specialist teams working as one, with a named project lead as your single point of contact.

  • Systems Design

AV design engineers who produce surveys, schematics, drawings and specifications.

  • Project Engineering

Project managers and engineers who coordinate programme, procurement and site work.

  • Programming

Control and DSP programmers who build user interfaces and automation.

  • Installation

Supervised field teams responsible for cabling, mounting and rack build.

  • Service & Support

Service engineers and a support desk for maintenance and fault response.

08Why clients work with us

Accountability from design to support.

  1. 01

    Experienced AV professionals

Design engineers, programmers and installation supervisors who work on AV systems every day.

  2. 02

    End-to-end system integration

One team accountable from first survey to handover, rather than separate designers, suppliers and installers.

  3. 03

    Professional installation

Our own supervised crews, working to written standards for cabling, termination, labelling and rack build.

  4. 04

    Reliable equipment

Equipment specified from established professional manufacturers, sourced through authorised channels.

  5. 05

    Customised system design

Systems designed for the room and the people using it — not a standard package adjusted to fit.

  6. 06

    Testing & commissioning

Measured, documented and witness-tested before the client signs off.

  7. 07

    Post-installation support

Maintenance contracts, remote monitoring and a service desk that knows your system.
