01 — The brief
The broadcaster needed to replace an ageing production control room while continuing to deliver live news bulletins throughout the day, and wanted infrastructure that would support a future move to IP.
02 — Our solution
A temporary control position was built and proven before any live equipment was removed. The new room was designed around a hybrid SDI/IP core, with production switching, multiviewers, broadcast audio console, intercom and tally integrated and fully documented.
03 — Systems delivered
Video
- Production switcher
- Hybrid SDI/IP routing
- Multiviewer displays
Audio

- Structured cabling and labelling
04 — Outcome
The channel stayed on air throughout. Final cutover took place overnight, and the engineering team received full as-built documentation and operator training.
